It is no longer news that the joint health staffs are OK n strike because of failure to implement demands entered willingly by the federal government with the body. Sequel to this; I'm being drawn to the circular released by the FMOH. Which I see as a show of shame on their path for taking sides in this continuous struggles. They never mentioned such when Doctors strike but are so quick to do so when others demands aren't meant. I think the problem is the whole body of health starting from the government arm which is the mininster of health.
Else where, this is what they released for National association of Residence Doctors;
While JOHESU members get threatening letters from FMOH/
See what Same Government gave Doctors on training NARD

Dear Colleagues,
Following serial negotiations between the NARD leadership & the Ministry of Finance on offsetting our 2017 Salary shortfalls & implementation of MOTOS signed on 06.09.2017..

The Ministry of Finance after a Meeting attended today by the NARD leadership led by the Ag.President,Dr Ganiyu Ahmed,released the sum of One Billion,Five Hundred Million Naira only(N1,500,000,000.00) to be shared in percentages amongst Institutions owed shortfalls and skipping arrears in 2017..
They promised to release same or even extra monthly so they can offset all the shortfalls within the next few months..
(Find attached sharing formula)

The Office of the Minister of Finance told us today that the Value of the Skipping arrears that was submitted by the Management of our various Institutions was over bloated and as such would want each ARD in all FTHI to send in within the next 1week,the exact amount needed to pay their Skipping arrears from January 2014 till the time they started receiving Skipping so they can compare and process payment immediately..

Please Centre Presidents should treat as urgent and send amount needed for skipping arrears to the NARD Secretariat for onward compilation and transmission to the Ministry of Finance for necessary action..
Please make sure everybody is captured..

We are poised to serve you better..

Warm regards,

Dr. O.V Nnadi,
Sec.Gen,NARD

This is happening in the same country. Oh Nigeria, who do this to thou?
We all working for the benefit of the patient and someone is trying to show you that you not important just because you chose to help humanity in a different way. Since they felt others are not important, why didn't they start doing the work of security, arrange patient folders for themselves, dispense drugs to patients and serve drugs to patients ?
Doctors, the tree that wants to make a forest and FMOH is in support, look at the circular released!!
