11 Criteria To Watch For Before Voting In Any Nigerian Politician 2019 by Ade3000yrs(m): 7:10pm On Apr 19, 2018
I have contemplated writing this for long for Many years and Today I felt this long overdue burden must be unveiled. It is easy for any one to yarn for change but the true change is a big task that requires a sincere purging process and perspective of life. Reading through this piece will tell us that 99.9% of Nigerians are not ready for the needed change come 2019 as Nigerians are already condition to the lies of politicians which always makes us an open book and an accomplice in the corruption circus funfair games making us both the electorates and the elected a pack of corrupt crusaders in the aid and abait cultural cycle.

Nigerians Wake up & Open your eyes, 2019 is around the corner and as we all are getting set and polishing our PVC to go for another round of poll, I would want us to be all ever sensitive to the games of the regular politicians who like to profit from the share ignorance of the people.

When we say Nigeria is corrupt, then we need to first define the true meaning of corruption because it is most likely that 99.9% of Nigerians are corrupt, and when you build a country with the element and character of the least poverty stricken man in Nigeria with a greedy vain, covetous and insatiable minded fellow by night, be ready for stories of looted government treasury and political office by dawn.

Here are a few things to watch out from political Aspirants and candidacy who feel the government is their inheritance.

1. Anyone who uses hate speech and is unreserved in words no matter who the person could be, be it your brother or sister or mother, please desist casting your vote to such persons because these are people who would lead the nation to anarchy.

2. Any Politician who is quick to go for Holiday or Medical treatment in Barbados or Bahamas, USA Europe, UK or UAE, Rome, Jerusalem, Mecca or Saudi Arabia, believe me such persons do not deserve your vote because these are people who will never pay attention to the failing social infrastructures in the country and will fail to head to the needs of the labour or worker union in the country.

3. Any politician or political Aspirant whose children have gone or are schooling abroad in the USA, Europe, Gulf Countries, or in Saudi Arabia, or married to a white or a foreigner, believe me you would not like to be caught gambling giving your vote to such persons because they will surely run an expensive government of the elites only for those who can afford it thereby pushing the children of the poor masses to the lagoon or to die a man made death with harsh and stringent economy. We need politicians who are not thieves and are humble enough to use or share what we have as social facilities with the masses such our, rail system, airlines, road networks, government universities, polytechniques, secondary and primary schools and government hospitals.

4. Any politician or public figure who have a taste for extravagant and glamorous life style like the ones who enjoy the use of their Porsche rides under the stench of the choking poverty and economic wanes should never be voted in for any political office. Especially the I have arrived and elated show off minded persons.

5. Any politician or Aspirant who have more than 2 to 3 cars in his garage is 98% most likely to be a thief and voting such greedy fellow to represent your interest is most likely at your own peril.

6. Any politician who believe he does not need much of public appearance or regular contact with the grassroot communities and masses but love to go in a convoy of scores of fully armed security men is no doubt a thief because the question remains, if you are not a thief, what are you afraid of? Why ain't you approachable with less reason to fear if truly you are accountable?

7. Any tribalistic, ethnocentric or religious or over ambitious grab power by all con and callous means necessary must never be allowed in power because persons out of over zealousness would heighten fanatism and eventually lead the country into another kind of tribal cleansing Rwanda war.

8. Any politician who does not have a farm providing free food for part of his community needs out of voluntary service and does not own the smallest or least factory on your street at least producing spoon, tooth pick, tooth paste, cloth line and plastic chairs should never be voted into office because such persons will only come to use the political office to steal because they have never at any time had anything to offer but only looking for something big or an opportunity to grab something big. At least such politician must have 80% of their investment here in Nigeria.

9. Any Politician who have not been in the political arena for more than 3 to 5 years of practice are the likes to be voted in power. Nigeria need fresh air, fresh minds, fresh hands and not old weary, uninnovative and tired heads.

10. More so all these big brother Naija promoting kind of youths should never be voted into power else you will have far worse senseless youths in power than the old herald of purposeless and ambitiousless politician in power because they are obviously the part of the lots who have nothing to offer the country and continent other than porn stars, hookers and morally derailed youths wanting to get rich over night playing the delusional Cinderella and Alice in the wonderland drama theme love hoping to wake up the next morning in the treasure island and Palatial Gulf peninsula.

11. And as for age, though age is not a barrier for leadership and political office, believe me if we adopt a strategy of anybody above above 45 years should be considered too old and unfit to be a Politician, believe me, you will surely see greater and faster transformation with a nation and people at work

In the area of security matters and military service, experience minds and international coperation is needed to sustain and maintain such sectors of government.

Our leaders should project the true and bonded identity of an average Nigerian. It is an act of carnage, betrayal and treason for the servants or serving politicians to live a more extravagant and glamorous life than the electorates and the ordinary masses who have called them to service and represent their interest. From the least of masses on the street corner to the electorates, the Judiciary, The Legislative and the Executive, it is obvious from the expository piece that corruption is very much alive like a cancer amongst us without anyone exempted. Not even our jet flying clergy men who needs the jet to fly straight to heaven possibly when they see the country going up in blazes.

Nigeria don't need the likes of grammatically endowed politicians but for action inclined politicians with a deep rooted sense of purpose and urgency for favourable economic stimulus for the masses and common man on the street.

Lets build an enviable country that the white man would be begging to come and spend their dollars, Euro, YChinese Yuan, British Pound, Dinari, and Japanese Yen
