Ulefone has officially applied to Guinness World Records to recognize the Power 5 as the smartphone with the largest battery capacity. This is coming after the smartphone which parked a massive 13,000mAh capacity was officially launched. Before now, there have been smartphones with 10,000mAh, 8,000mAh, 6000mAh 5000mAh and 4000mAh batteries which were one time the largest battery capacity.

The Ulefone Power 5 comes with a 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 6-inch FHD+ display. It is powered by a Octa-Core MTK6763 Helio P23 processor running on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The smartphone comes with a Sony 21MP+5MP dual rear camera combo setup and 13MP+5MP front facing selfie shooter.

Why is it that phones that run on better snapdragon processors don't always come with these monster batteries? If I'm not wrong the biggest battery on a snadragon phone is 5,300mah on xiaomi mi max 2 and that one is not even a normal phone, it's a 6.4 inch tablet tryijg to be a phone. In fact highest I've seen on a flagship snapdragon phone (snapdragon 800 series) or it's equivalent is 4,000mah of the Huawei p20 pro. But if it is mtk u will be seeing 6,000mah, 8,000mah, 10,000mah and now 13,000mah.

It would be beautiful if it's 13000MAh wasn't the equivalent of a 7000mah elsewhere with better SoC & GPU.

Wasn't it 2016 theywere talking of the industry coming up with phones lasting 2 months on a charge?

It's high time somebody delivered on that already.

Imma get one assoon as it drops, though I suspect they'd still probably up the ante with a .pro version not too long after.

Nope. 13,000mah is an overkill. 5,000 mAh is good enough. But this is a 2018 thread. If there's anything most reviewers wish flagship phones have it is bigger batteries. They purposely don't give u bigger batteries either for cosmetic purposes or they just want to sell u fast charging. The Galaxy s20 plus of 2018 had 3,500mah which was not enough. U could hardly get 4-5 hours screen on time on that phone. Meanwhile u could easily get 6-7 hours screen on time on Galaxy A70 which has a weaker processor but also a 1080p display and 4,500mah. I just don't get it, they give u phones with killer specs, fantastic quad he display that sucks battery and then give u a small battery.

Recently they have started to get some sense by putting bigger batteries, but still not enough as they are now giving us higher refresh rate. Galaxy s20 ultra has 5,000 mAh battery which is very good. But it also has a 120hz refresh rate, if u decide to use 120hz then that battery will die in no time. Same thing with OnePlus 8 pro. They decided to go quad hd display with 120hz and then 4,510mah battery. That looks like a decent battery but if u use 120hz the battery will die before u know it.
