I stumbled upon this in the wake of the uproar that the president's statement generated. I saw the clips if the statement and some may opine that the President's statement was misinterpreted as he never specifically mentioned anywhere that 'Nigerian youths are lazy'
If the president's statement generates this much controversy, I wonder why the same people turn blind eyes to a similar statement made by a sitting governors about his people being so lazy. To me, the same scenarios should be Judged with the same yardstick.

This is the reason why I reduced airing my opinions on this political section. There is no way you will innocently air your opinion without having one or two nincompoops throwing insults at you. Not that I fear the insults, infact I love it because (as a typical igboro) I will fire back in a cataclysmic epic proportion. I wonder why people fail to realize that it is impossible for all of us to reason along the same line. Same youths claim that the President is an old man and is DICTATORIAL while at the same time THEY CANNOT TOLERATE OPPOSING OPINION. How will they perform when leadership position is entrusted upon them?
