Can you see that EFCC logo up there? What if i tell you that it is about 3 meters in height. I mean taller than a coaster bus, taller than your doors, taller than the interior of your rooms and most offices? It's magnificent project by all standard. Our fair should be the institution that would use it and the maintenance stretegy put in place to ensure that 100 years from today, the nation would still be benefiting from this investment.

Of all the comments read so far, yours is the most sensible.

A ten storey structure (from outside)? When don't even have the schematic diagram of the building ooooooo? Never can tell if the structure has basement floors... Mechanical and electrical gadgets... Electronic fittings....

Btw, Julius Berger be the contractor... now imagine the structural integrity of the building as well as quality controls.

I'm not saying 24b is justifiable but there are lotta missing pieces before one can make conclusions

I just passed near the building few minutes ago and decided to take pictures from a distance. Not sure how to get inside and didn't bother before I become their first arrest so I did pharisee style. At the front, there is a giant EFCC Logo that was put up last week. It was constructed by Julius Berger.

Please, i disagree with you. I am a Quantity Surveyor and I can attest to it that no structural or Electrical standard employed can make the base cost of this building exceed 12billion naira. Even if the contractor is Julius Berger. Its all inflated.

I do not blame Buhari for saying Nigerian youths are lazy. He would have even said they are senseless too because Nairaland is a clear example of where you really see how jobless and senseless Nigerian youths are. Commenting and analyzing what doesnt make sense is a big shame.

I am.sure you have no idea of the preliminary works that was done before the site was habited. While i am.not justifying the high cost, you should also be aware that project conditions varies.
