Heartland  FC fans allegedly beat to coma the referee that officiated Heartland Vs Plateau United match.According to Felix,he was beaten because he allowed a last minute equalizer.Below is what Felix wrote

'This is what Heartland FC fans and management did to the ref that officiated their match against plateau United this evening. Beat him to coma. What was his offense?Why he allowed a last minute equalizer by plateau to stand. LMC, if Una no ban this club for at least 10 years. and demote them to second division, then u guys will never be taken serious by me. This is attempted murder!!! What if na Una brother or relative, na those fine of 250k Una go give?'

Its so unfortunate that such barbaric behavior is still within the footballing circle, then of what import is the security team provided to monitor matches played in the league?
I hope LMC takes a decisive and strong stand against this life threatening occurrence. This is bad image being sent to the world by our league.
I wish the ref quick recovery.

LMC please you guys should look into this matter without mercy for the club... But this ref na mumu o, he should know that it is better for away side to first score or equalise when there is still time to late minute equaliser or win from visiting side in the NPL.. Him for die trying to be a good ref and the NPL for still continue without him.
