THE gist we are hearing about the new 13-year-old bride of former Zamfara State governor and Senator of the Federal Republic, Alhaji Ahmed Sani, is that she has returned to Egypt after her nuptials. According to information gathered, the not-too-elaborate wedding was attended by some Northern politicians and the family of the young bride who we gathered, is still a junior student in a secondary school in Egypt. It was gathered that the lady, immediately after she was handed to her husband by her family, had to return to Egypt to undergo necessary training before she would return to Nigeria to start a new life and to get a new school in Nigeria. hope the girl's family don't forget to return the bride price, cos i doubt she'll be coming back, at all!!! |
