The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, on Tuesday evening disclosed that all 24 state governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress have endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid.

Okorocha who is also the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum stated this in an interview with State House correspondents after a meeting with Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

 
He said, “We came to welcome the President back and to commend him for his boldness and courage to declare his intention to run for second term as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which we the 24 governors of the APC duly support.

“And we have come to encourage him that he must go ahead with his vision.”

“The meeting addressed the issue of the party’s forthcoming national convention and congresses.

“We resolved to make the exercise hitch-free.

 
“We also agreed that we will not allow the issue of many contestants destroy our party,” he said.

Speaking on the issue of endorsement of Adams Oshiomhole as next APC National Chairman. Okorocha added that the public would be duly briefed in due course

so do we still callmit a close door metting...just to endorse buhari for second term...this is laughable....so the killings in benue state, senate maze snatching, buhari impeachment notice, etc were not important....so 24 governors will not decide the fate of 180 million nigerians come 2019...we shall see!

If this Okorocha did not win IMO state governor, I wouldn't have known how useless he is.

Their is something inertly wrong with we Africans.
