BayelsaLegacy:
Governor Seriake Dickson has charged the Chairman, Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Peremoboere Ugolo and members of the Bayelsa State teachers training, registration and certification board to make teachers and the teaching profession enviable in the State.

Governor Dickson tasked the board to determine what standard of attainment in terms of knowledge and skills by persons seeking to become registered teachers in the state.

The Governor added that teachers in the State should be trained and retrained as it is applicable to the other professions, stressing that no category of teachers is exempted from this training no matter how highly placed.

'It suffices therefore to state that teachers in the State will henceforth undergo all necessary intellectual, professional, moral, social and even psychological rigors characteristic of the other noble professions that will set them apart from quacks and ley people.

Members of the board are, Azobo Okus, Japhet Eneber, Herry Ineiseigha Jesse, Loveday Eferebo Sylvanus.

Other members are ,Chief Samson Dick-Agbe, Chief M.E. Engman , Isaiah Joseph Gabriel.
