According to reports, the Police have denied Senate delegation access to National Hospital ward where Senator Dino Melaye is admitted after his arrest yesterday.

The delegation is led by Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Bala Na'Allah. It includes Deputy Chief Whip, Senator Francis Alimikhena, Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha and Deputy Chief of Staff to Senate President, Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola.

For crying out loud, Melaye has been indicted in a murder case. He should clear his name. Attempting to escape from lawful arrest is another big offence for which he must be treated worse. In many countries, he will be shot dead for that stunt.

It's commonly agreed that the legislators are largely thieves irrespective of their party. They usually unite in looting the nation dry.

Why any sane youth will support any of them who runs foul of the law is sheer stupidity.

Our judiciary is one of the worst in the world.

And it's so because of the corrupt politicians. They have acquired so much that the Judicial officials can hardly resist their offer except a few godly ones.

Why should they be prevented from seeing him.
