A very devastating report reaching Igbere TV news desk this night revealed that policemen are currently on the run after killing an innocent Ebonyian for refusing to give them 100 naira.

An eyewitness shared this with Igbere TV correspondent

"Ebonyi CP, Titus Larmode, is it not high time you dismantled the illegal night checkpoints you created upon your arrival in Ebonyi?".

"Your men of AK along Water works, precisely at Anan world shot this young man to death for allegedly refusing to offer them N100".

All policemen in Nigeria, starting from the IGP to the newest recruits, must be made to undergo a mandatory psychiatry evaluation at least twice in a year!

I stated the cause in the earlier thread below. Insanity!!! Go after such insane person in uniform, hold him/them hostage until their oga come & take proper action on him. It's an offence to take life that way.

Policemen salaries should be bumped up, their welfare adequately taken care of and banned from serving VIPs. They will probably give up blocking the roads for a measly N100. I don't know how much the IGP is earning but if a new recruit is earning N200,000/mo regularly, they might just give up this lowly life of extortion. This money should come from the lawmakers whose earnings must be trimmed to the barest minimum.

The comedians in the hallowed chambers should not be paid allowances. The monies for their allowances should be given to the most neglected law enforcement officers in Nigeria - the police.
