Understanding the Demands for Profitable Stewardship.

Yesterday we looked at the fact that for our service to be acceptable we must serve God diligently and sacrificially.

If serving God does not cost you anything, you have not started service

It will cost your belly food, it will cost you friends, sleep, money, energy, etc

Today we are talking about serving God unashamedly. Are you ashamed to serve or identify with God?

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation;

of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

You could be a Pastor, Deacon, Usher, etc, He said if you are ashamed of Him, you have completely lost your reward.

You should not be ashamed of what is gainful.

Some people cannot be seen in public carrying Bibles or talking about Jesus.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God

unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Look at how marketers of telecommunication companies and banks market their products unashamedly because they know what profit they will derive

Take a cue from them. Are you marketing Jesus unashamedly?

Moreover, we must serve God tirelessly.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love,

which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Nobody is too big to serve God.

This morning, receive grace to serve God unashamedly and tirelessly in Jesus name, because no one can serve in the energy of the flesh.
