I feel the delay is cos NPS had much backlogs. If we can remember, before the minister left, he procured new cars and renovated/built new structures. Now they are done with promotions. I heard they are retiring some staff this July. In my opinion, following due process entails that they achieve all these before bringing new people into the system.

Officers due for promotion would never allow recruitment without getting their entitlements.

Good day, something just come to mind. Don't u think FFS training will not delay our dear NPS process? Because I'm not sure if both FFS and NPS are not using the same venues for training. Pls ur point on this is urgently required. Thanks

I might be wrong, but none of the prisons training schools is being used by FFS.

You’re right. Many people are due to retire this month, including the CG himself. Even the newly promoted staffs have not been posted to their new stations (for example: DC’s incharge of prisons that have been promoted to CP have not been posted to their new commands, their replacements have not been sent).

I believe they will take their time to sort their house before admitting new intake to training schools. But in my own opinion, it won’t hurt if they send invites for documentation this month.

But FFS also did promotion for their staffs, and they are in camp now.

I think the time NPS is in training , they can use the period to do all necessary things,
