About Us at The Award Office
The International Award for Young People Nigeria (IntAward for short) is a subsidiary of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (“The Award”); The world’s leading youth achievement award for young people. It is available to all young people between the ages of 14-24, irrespective of their circumstances, background, challenge and abilities. It is a solution to non-formal education that brings together practical experiences and life skills to help equip young people to succeed in life.

Our organisation provides a platform that offers a balanced program for the development of a whole person - mind, body and soul, in an environment of social interaction and team working. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to be involved in our several youth developmental programs. The organisation relies on the goodwill of our volunteers, and the growth and nurturing of this department is vital to the functioning of IntAward.

We understand that your time, skills and enthusiasm are precious so we want you to get the most out of your experience with us. There are many aspects of the organisation you can choose to get involved with; from Admin support to helping with expeditions to mentoring young people in order to help them achieve their Awards.


The skills we’re looking for in you
1. Confidence and some experience of running activities for young people aged 14-24 in a group
setting.
2. Awareness of the needs of young people of this age and the ability to effectively plan sessions and activities.
3. Enthusiasm for the values of The International Award for Young People Nigeria.
4. Ability to commit to work.
