The trending topic last week in Nigeria was the arrest and subsequent attempt to escape by Senator Dino Melaye whilst being transported by the police from Abuja to his native Kogi state to face the illegal possession of firearms charge in Lokoja.

His fellow senator, Ben Murray-Bruce has taken to Twitter to accuse the Nigerian police of gassing Senator Melaye twice.

He tweeted:

“Just met with @dino_melaye. Very sad to hear what transpired. Dino is asthmatic, yet while in transit, the police gassed him & he could barely breathe. Second time they gassed him, he had to force his way out of the vehicle. Dino literally escaped death. SAD!”

The police are yet to respond to this accusation but it adds a new twist to the ongoing saga between Senator Melaye and his opponents.

Gassing Diamond Dino was a waste of precious tear-gas, and a bill for the canisters used ought to be sent to Dino's family, so that they can pay up in full for the gas used, before the cretin is killed like a rat in hospital.

Dino Ferrari Maajale could have just as easily been subdued with a couple of gunshots to the knee, costing just 20 naira per bullet, since he was after all attempting to escape from police custody when he jumped like Spiderman from the truck that was conveying him to his new home behind bars.

It is perfectly legal for the police to use whatever level of force that they deem necessary, in the event that an arrested felony suspect is trying to flee justice, so Diamond Dino should count his lucky stars that Sgt. Dongoyaro was not on duty that day he attempted his FAILED stunt-man escape, and landed on his bony cranium.

Anyway, it is not too late to phuck Dino up right here in the hospital, because in all likelihood he is FAKING illness, as a prelude to trying yet another Spiderman or Batman LEAP out of his hospital bed, and out the window, to the street below where a getaway car MIGHT be waiting to assist his flight from justice. Such a scenario would definitely qualify Dino Ferrari Malaye as the target of some expertly aimed bursts of rifle-fire.

They gassed him the first time and he survived it. They gassed him a second time, though he is asthmatic, he didnt go into respiratory distress. His systems didnt start shutting down, infact he even had the power and energy to jump out of a moving vehicle and sat down in the middle of the road, screaming expletives at the police with full strength.
