Job Title: Manager, Human Resources

Location: Nigeria, Lagos

Job Objectives

* To plan, direct and review the activities and strategies of the Company’s Human Resources Department including recruitment and selection, employee relations, training, compensation and benefits administration; to provide highly responsible workforce that will deliver the Company’s strategies objectives.

Job Responsibilities
* Lead/initiate new and innovative global HR practices to create a strong culture of leadership and high performing teams
* Support managers to performance manage their staff, ensuring that assessment of performance is objective and poor performance is addressed appropriately
* Manage performance of roles reporting to this function to ensure that staffs reach their potential and provide effective service to the Company
* Manage partnerships and vendors for outsourced services
* Develop and control budgets for the unit and assigned projects
* Ensure the delivery of best practice Talent Management practices across the organization
* Define and maintain a competitive and merit based compensation system to support the Company’s corporate strategy
* Drive strategic and operational level HR-planning including Labor Relations, Recruiting & Staffing, Compensation & Benefits, Leadership
Coaching, Employee Development and Performance Management
* Support Management decisions with appropriate communication tools and systems to ensure effective flow of information including employee
opinions surveys, leadership communication etc.
* Manage appropriately all legal cases relating to Human Resources, Working in collaboration with the company’s legal counsel
* Perform any other responsibility as may be required by management

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Sciences or any other relevant discipline
* An MBA or a Master’s degree or HR professional certification will be an added advantage
* Must possess minimum of 4 years post 'CIPM' qualification work experience in Human Resource Management
