SO DEEP...SO TRUE

This whole Dino episode is making me think about life through.
You see when Saraki was under his own corruption sledge hammer at CCT, Dino Melaye was everywhere for him. He was bodyguard, soulmate, friendmate, TV host, he mobilized thugs, granted interviews and stood by him.
He wanted to be loyal and friends with Saraki. I think it worked for long.
But today, while Dino sat on the floor at Area 1, he was alone. First, he was advised to summit himself for Police arrest. He did.
I’m sure like the days of Saraki, if 20 Senators had escorted Dino while he was being transported to Lokoja, he wouldn’t be jumping off vehicle of his trial convoy.
At a moment, Dino felt alone. The reality of life and all his activities became a traffic in his head. He cried inside of himself and knew the fool he had become. Even if he was acting a script, this humiliation he received alone must have taught him great lessons of his own frail humanity.
NASS has been quiet. When push came to shove, he was left to his character. He was left to his own past, present and future.
I have also been thinking for myself, for others like me, for people like Dino too. When I’m in my own period of trying times, would anyone I am friends with be there for me?
Would the people I stand by as friends today not desert me at the moment of my own needs, tears, sorrow, lack, emotional breakdown, attacks, etc?
I am saying this because I know of a precedent about me. Some of my friends have told me that many times they watch me fight alone because they believe I can fight for myself. Like I have the needed strength and would always weather it. But how true?
No matter one’s strength in life, we need help sometimes. It would hurt me someday if those I stand for and with would leave me abandoned like Dino at the time of my own travails. I remember someone whom I so loved and defended,picked his battles as mine, recently came to act “neutral” on me when I was recently attacked by someone for even his own cause. I don’t think I got over it.

It would make me raise 3 fundamental q7uestions this morning:
1. Would the friends you stand with today, stand with you tomorrow?
2. Just like Saraki’s character, would you blame yourself or blame those whose character couldn’t live up to your expectations in fairness tomorrow?
This is talking about fair weather friends. Those who come when everything is rosy for you and depart when things are bad for you. Would you blame yourself or you’d blame them ?
3. Can the character you have today sustain you far stronger to pick your battles even when everyone you know deserts you
I am typing all these things because we live life. We can only account for what we can do, we can’t control what anyone would do tomorrow.
Would the people you’re living your life for live theirs for you when the time comes.

Does the op expect saraki to be body guarding dino jst to show him he is support of him?

Saraki is learned and has his background way of throwing his support behind dino without body guarding him like dino did.

The whole upper and lower chamber are behind dino including some police personnels.

Think of it, how did dino escape from the police van without the support of the police? Forget those lies they are cooking up tht dino jumped off the vehicle bla bla bla. Dino ws aided to escape by same police

There was no hate in the OP's post. Please wear the lenses of objectivity, and read it again. It was merely a philosophical piece. Dino did not win anything. His recall case merely failed, because his people were against Yahaya Bello's antics, and his bad governance, especially within their area. They knew Bello was behind Dino's travails, and any attempt to support the recall exercise, would be seen as a victory for Bello. They chose to dash Bello's hopes, rather than partake in the whole exercise. It was not done because they love Dino. It was done to spite Bello, who deserved every bit of their disdain!
