Due to expansion, we currently seek the services of an astute Business Development Officer in the field of HR & Recruitment/Outsourcing Services who will work in the Sales and Business Development process / pipeline for the Human Resources & Recruitment/Outsourcing Division and to achieves its sales targets and maintain positive relationship with all our clients. He will also be at the fore front of developing an understanding of our client’s requirements, sourcing for and executing exceptional HR & Recruitment/Outsourcing offerings that match with our client’s needs and advise clients on various human resource decisions and development needs of their employees.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Ideal candidates will have a solid track record in a Business development focused role, with at least 2+years’ experience in selling products and services into the HR sector. He/she must be able to demonstrate the ability to work closely and effectively with clients and must be articulate and presentable when dealing with C-Level Executives. Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 25 years’ of age
• B.Sc or M.Sc / MBA Degrees in Business Administration, Economics, HRM, Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, or any of the Social Sciences /Numerate Subjects or Equivalent.
• Proven track record in sales ideally overachieving on targets and acquiring new business
• Ability to learn quickly and develop a good understanding of industry requirements
• Strong prospecting skills and extensive customer facing experience.
• Sound commercial aptitude with a result oriented approach to work
• Must be well organized and demonstrate good attention to detail.
• Must be self- motivated and able to work under extreme pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
• Must be task oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Able to use computer hardware and software including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proficient in the use of internet for research.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with companies to meet their HR & Recruitment / Outsourcing needs.
• Handle the Sales & Business Development process / pipeline for business to ensure the Division achieves sales targets in all HR & Recruitment / Outsourcing businesses.
• Maximize contact with key accounts, key contacts and other critical people at various client organizations and focus efforts to obtain new work and generation of new enquiries for the business
• Ensure prequalification of the organization with existing and potential customers, to enable us to be in a position to bid for projects within our sphere of capabilities.
• Negotiates contractual terms and finalizes details of the project contracts.
• Facilitates the flow of operational information to ensure effective execution of HR & Recruitment / Outsourcing contracts.
• Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of all company services
• Research market, source potential new clients and arrange meetings with key personnel
• Generate leads through cold calling
• Attend networking events to promote the company and generate new leads
• Qualify all incoming leads and convert into business
• Meet quarterly sales target and KPI criteria
• Staff exhibitions and trade stands to promote company products
• Represent the company in a professional manner and act as an ambassador of her values
• Attend regular meetings with his/her manager and ensure that he/she is kept aware of new developments and any potential issues.
• Ensure liaison with other departments as appropriate in relation to proposals, projects, legal, financing, tax, or other issues.
• Regularly provides market intelligence and research to clients.
• Provide timely support to customers through proactive management of post fixture activities
• Identify and capture additional revenue opportunities.
• Proactively manage relationships with existing clients and develops relationships with new clients.
• Assist with evaluating new opportunities for additional revenue from new and existing clients by analyzing requirements, potential for revenue growth and evaluating options whilst maintaining company priorities.
• Work independently to ensure services are delivered to clients to a high standard
• Achieving a high level of customer satisfaction in all dealings with companies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, peers, superiors, and other company personnel.
• Carry out market research as required and provide ongoing support to clients.
• Protect the company’s values by keeping information confidential.
• Maintains excellent relationships with all stakeholders of the business.
• Update job knowledge by taking advantage of educational opportunities; professional development activities and maintaining a sound professional network.
• Enhance organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for delivery of new requirements to clients; and always exploring opportunities to add value to client’s customer experience.
