Prior to the religious and political unrest that took place on the 4th of February 2018 at the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola in Adamawa state, the management of the institution have announced a new resumption date and a revised academic calendar for the 2017/2018 academic session. 9jahyper noted that the unrest which was caused by a student of the institution led to the destruction of Christian student properties e.g worship instruments and the burning of some lectures theatres notably the LT’s in the school of management and information technology (SMIT).
