Open the HDD compartment, if the HDD is there (not removed by someone), remove it and re-insert it.

had this issue with mine, turns out the hp hard disks are easily susceptible to damage, i had to get mine replaced lost everything

well it was winter around then so they said the cold condensed and got into my HD since it had a metal body i spent roughly around 50k if you convert to naira

Wooow 50k is much. is there no any other method to resolve this issue cos I ll not like to loose my document on the drive . i love my HD thanks

you have to buy another HDD i still have my old one I’ll try and retrieve my old hd when I’m home
