DESIGN

A combination of Metal and Aluminum here, the Lenovo S5 looks breathtaking, especially in red colour. Sporting the same design format with the K5, the dual rear shooters sits at the top left corner with the dual-LED flash sitting by the side.

Moving further, the fingerprint scanner is surrounded by a shining metal-like circle just like on the iPhone 8. The Lenovo S5 measures 7.8mm in thickness weighs 155g overall and was launched in Black and Red colours only.
DISPLAY

The three smartphones launched by Lenovo flows with the current trend and Lenovo S5 is no exception. A bezel-less beauty it is with super minimal bezels, as it dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The bezels could’ve been reduced further if they wanted to since it has no navigation buttons at the bottom bezel. The 5.7-inch FHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is sharper than its brothers’, with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 424 pixels per inch density. Overall, the screen stretches up to 74.30% screen to body ratio.
HARDWARE and SOFTWARE

A much powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip is underneath here having an 8-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The octa-core processor clocks at a speed of 1.5GHz with a 14nm process technology offering fast performance. The Adreno 506 graphics processor is in charge of everything graphics.

In terms of RAM, there are two versions, a standard version with 4GB RAM and a much cheaper variant with 3GB RAM. While for storage, there are three versions, 128GB, 64GB and 32GB storage space. The RAM reaches a memory speed of 933MHz, while the storage is upgradeable up to 128GB. The Lenovo S5 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with ZUI 3.7 skin.
CAMERA

Two is always better than one, the dual 13MP 13MP shooters on the S5 has f/2.2 aperture and captures photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. Record HD videos of 2160 pixels at 30 frames per second while the 16MP selfie camera has f/2.2 aperture, face recognition and 80.2-degree wide angle lens.

The Lenovo S5 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology.
