Law or nature or natural laws, according to Wikipedia, are philosophy asserting that certain rights are inherent by virtue of human nature, endowed by nature—traditionally by God or a transcendent source—and that these can be understood universally through human reason. These laws have been in effect for a long time now whether you are aware of them or not. Understanding them can make a significant difference in applying them to create the life you truly desire.

Robert Frost in his writing about how these laws have been in work without humans knowing it said: “How many times it thunders before Franklin took the hint! How many apples fell on Newton’s head before he took the hint! Nature is always hinting at us. It hints over and over again. And suddenly we take the hint.”

The Law of Rhythm
This law states that everything has a natural cycle. The tides go in and back out, night follows day, and life regenerates itself. We all have good times and bad times, but nothing stays the same. Change is constant. Change is nature’s law. We are either moving forward or we are going backward. We are either creating or disintegrating. There is no status quo.

A seed, if it is not planted in the earth to create, disintegrates. Change is inevitable. All progress is change but all change is not progress. We must evaluate change and accept it only if it makes sense. Acceptance without evaluation amounts to conforming behavior, a sign of lack of confidence and low self-esteem.

There is a lot to be said about tradition. Growth for the sake of growth is the philosophy of a cancerous cell. It is negativity spreading all over. That is not growth but destruction. Growth, in order to be meaningful, must be positive.

Entrepreneurship lesson: When you are on a down swing, know that things will get better. Think of the good times that are coming. Just like the night gives way to the day, down time will definitely give way to up time. So, when you come face to face with bad times as an entrepreneur, do not give up. Know that bad time will surely give way to good time. But if you have given up, you will not be there to witness it. Success is not a matter of luck, but of laws.

The Law of Gestation
This law states that everything takes time to manifest. All things have a beginning and grow into form as more energy is added to it. Thoughts are like seeds planted in our fertile minds that bloom into our physical experience if we have nourished them. Take a muster seed for instance. The seeds are usually small, about 1 to 2 millimetres in diameter. It is so small that people not be able to see it if hold it in your hand. But just bury it in the ground and give it time to germinate and grow. What you will see will surprise you – a massive tree of over 6-30ft tall and 20ft spread.
