Dangers of not expressing your anger

As a therapist, we are expected to touch major areas that affects majority of people. I have always been a victim to  this topic, that was the reason I took up the task to write this tutorial. From this article, you will find out that purging or not suppressing your feeling of anger is dangerous to your immune system and you will also learn the 12 immediate step to be relief from anger. Just relax as we move on together.

"Anger is emotional outburst", said by behavioral psychologist. When we do not express our anger, we store it in our bodies where it can affect a particular   area and cause muscle tension. This can have a paralyzed effect on us physically and emotionally, causing fatigue, lack of zest, flatness to our outward expression, and a thwarting of our impulses and intuition.  We become stuck.

When we refuse to express our angers, we adopt a variety of tactics that express it indirectly-like transfer of aggression. Others ways  are avoidance, that is, we may avoid the person we are angry at or avoid the topic that triggers our anger. We may compensate for the underlying anger by appearing sweet and/or smiling. We may become passive-aggressive, acting out our anger unconsciously by undermining another  person through our action. We may wish to talk about surface things such as weather, work, someone else, rather than the issue that is consuming us within. This reinforces our emotional barriers and prevents intimacy and relationships of depth. When we have a backlog of anger, it finds its own way to be released, either through generalized irritability or unwarranted explosiveness. We may even become self-destructive, developing addictions, destructive behavior patterns, and perhaps suicidal tendencies.

It is not for us to judge another's actions. You can only do what is right and necessary for you to maintain your own truth and then leave the outcome to God or the universal energy field. You hurt yourself when you suppress or hold  unto the anger. Compose a letter of forgiveness and send thoughts of well-being to the person you have most anger towards. Create a space in you for this forgiveness to grow in time.
