BRANCH MANAGER REQUIRED

A leading tiles marketing and distribution company require a Branch Manager.

JOB OBJECTIVES
o Oversee and manage the operations of the Branch
o Execute and supervise the Sales team towards delivering on the assigned sales target, while maximizing profitability
o Expand customer base - sign on of new customers and increase business from existing customers
o Sell entire range of company products to walk in customers as well as through marketing

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead and supervise the entire team in the Branch towards achieving all company objectives for the Branch
2. Identify and visit prospective customers to pitch company products (tiles and other building finishing products) and generate sales revenue (through cold and warm calling)
3. Follow up on sales leads from existing or new customers and generate revenue to meet assigned targets
4. Build a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales
5. Achieve set monthly sales and revenue targets for the branch.
6. Create & maintain database of all customer categories - architects, contractors, engineers’ contacts who could benefit from the company’s business.
7. Regular marketing visit to building construction sites to liaise with architects, contractors and building engineers.
8. Respond and follow up on customer enquiries that originate through phone calls, social media, etc and resolve any customer issues
9. Promptly process all received customer orders following confirmation of order through payment
10. Monitor and thoroughly check all customer orders to ensure accuracy
11. Deliver technical presentations on company products; demonstrating how the products will meet client needs
12. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education where and when necessary
13. Generate proposals or tenders according to client’s specifications when required.
14. Generate accurate cost calculations to provide customers with quotations.
15. Negotiate terms of an agreement with a view to closing sales.
16. Create invoices, receipts and delivery notes accurately for every transaction
17. Update and record sales transactions using Microsoft Office and Palladium®
18. Deliver post-sales services to ensure client satisfaction
19. Prepare and submit periodic sales, calls and marketing reports
20. Track competition product pricing & strategies towards achieving improvements in competitiveness.
21. Attend and represent the company at trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
22. Liaise with other members of the office team across stations to meet company objectives
23. Prepare Weekly and Monthly Reports and send as required



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
o An HND or University degree in any Science or Social Science course
o 4-8 years’ experience selling in the Building or Construction industry
o Leadership and Supervisory skills
o Smart, intelligent, mature and hardworking
o Ability to think through instructions and improve on same for best possible outcome
o Ability to express self and speak confidently, including command of English. Ability to speak other Nigerian languages would be an added advantage
o Requirement for candidate to currently be based in the Lekki/ Ajah environs
