Ekiti state incumbent Depty Governor and Fayose's anointed candidate, Prof. Olusola Aleka has emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the July 14 elections in the state. : Aleka polled a total of 1,191 votes to defeat his opponent and former Minister of state for Works, Mr. Dayo Adeyeye who garnered 770 votes. : Earlier,one of the candidates, Senator Abiodun Olujimi had stepped down for Adeyeye in the interest of peace,progress and stability of the party. |
