Nigerian singer, Tekno, who is equally a revered producer, thinks he has what it takes to bring home Grammy awards and has taken to one of his social media platforms to vow that comes rain come sun, he will win a Grammy Award.

Some time back, Tekno had complained that an award that was supposed to be given him was unduly given to Wizkid simply because he had gone international. He went further to say that with time, everyone will know who truly deserves to win Grammies. Fast forward to today, it seems the time Tekno talked about is still yet to come.

It’s not quite long since the Grammy Award Show was wrapped up, and it seems it didn’t go quite the way Tekno had expected it to. Consequently, the singer and producer has pledged to see to it that he bags home at least a Grammy award before his light on the music scene fades away.

He made this known on his IG account where he posted saying:
“Be rest assured, I’m gonna win the Grammy one day. Mark this date.” Well, the date has been marked. And we hope he doesn’t end up like 9ice who confidently made same vow but never brought home Grammy. Good luck to him.
