As in ehn, this is soo on point. I have become very irritated lately as my renewed interest in naija music has been anything but gratifying.
If they aren't singing about fake money, its about fake love or whatever song dedicated to extol the sexuality of a fake arsed bimbo. And for those who manage to sing a half sensible song, they litter it with half nakid girls (hello feminists grin)
Let's not even get started about the lyrics it besmirks of intellectual laziness.

I can weak for your kind.

No insult intended o.

Buh i hate it when you tag this trend as 'naija'. That is hip hop for you. It is like that all over the world. I used to share this view till i did a proper survey. Not just hear say.

"Fire on the mountain"

and "Eyo" she predicted the crisis.

The lady na prophetess

Charley boy (i.e. Charles Oputa) the Area Fada, sang that hit track "1990". His song was not just prophetic, it was also an indictment on politicians and their looting ways. That song is still relevant till today.
