About the University

Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas also known as VGTU, is a public university in Vilnius, Lithuania. Founded on 1 September 1956, the university was first a Vilnius-based evening division of the Kaunas Polytechnic Institute. It currently has 10 faculties, 14 research institutes, 33 research laboratories, and two research and four training centres. According to the QS World University Rankings, VGTU is in the top four percent of world universities.
QS has given VGTU five stars in teaching, facilities, and innovation. Measuring student mobility in the ERASMUS exchange program, VGTU is the most popular university in Lithuania for foreign students.

30 tuition fee free scholarships for international applicants for postgraduate studies.

4 full scholarships( tuition fee free and monthly stipends of 150 Euro) for international applicants for undergraduate studies.

Eligibility

International students can apply for these scholarships.

Bachelor’s degree studies: Applicants must be 21 years old and younger.

Master’s degree studies: Applicants must be 26 years old and younger.

Full scholarships: Applicants must be 21 years old and younger.

The candidate should have a very good command of English language.
