Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote has been invited to be a part of the New Economic Forum, a rival conference to the World Economic Forum, held each year in Davos, Switzerland. The World Economic Forum was founded by Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire philanthropist, former Mayor of New York, and founder of the eponymous financial data company. will focus almost entirely on the rise of China and its knock-on effects. The conference will focus especially on the challenge China ultimately poses to the US as the world’s hegemonic power.
