Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 New Living Translation (NLT)

5 There is another evil I have seen under the sun. Kings and rulers make a grave mistake

6 when they give great authority to foolish people and low positions to people of proven worth.

7 I have even seen servants riding horseback like princes—and princes walking like servants!

For many years, highly qualified high ranking AIGs and DIGs have been forcefully retired just to enthrone a less qualified person as IG. It happened in NIA just like every other place.

When merit is not celebrated, mediocrity is indirectly promoted... Until Nigeria places excellence and merit above everything else, we will remain like this for long.

Our bests are moving out of the country in droves to where they will be appreciated and well rewarded.

Those who stayed behind are ruled by illiterates as we are seeing again and again

1. Dr Alex Ekwueme was deputy to a Shagari, gradeII certificate holder
2. A whole professor Osibanjo of Law playing second fiddle to a Buhari whose FSLC is in doubt

We don't know that the position of leadership is for STRATEGIC DECISION-MAKING THAT UNTRAINED BRAINS SHOULDN'T HANDLE PARTICULARLY WHEN OVER 180M PEOPLE'S DESTINY ARE INVOLVED

And it is still building up even now. Just recently, cut off marks for entering secondary schools are lowered to as much as 20/100 for the same set of people that will rule over professors in future (God have mercy on our children).
