I understand that PDP ticket has already been won and lost when considering reality on ground, however, I think the aforementioned aspirants should submit themselves to the PDP Presidential primary instead of moving to mushroom SDP. They should test their electoral might irrespective!

Oga, gragra and gidigbo no be d same thing. Atiku/Lamido work hard and add gragra, Makarfi work hard but smartly. He has always been winning Buhari and has formidable structure within and outside PDP. Did you see the feat PDP pulled in Kaduna recently? But you'd never hear Makarfi make noise. Politics is about formidable structure and Makarfi has them intact. He will win the PDP ticket and will defeat Buhari by landslide

Meanwhile, Makarfi is a complete Gentleman but not a clueless slowpoke. There is a difference between being a gentleman and being a pushover. Save 2015, neither him nor his candidates lose elections since 1999.

You seem to forget Nigerians nay Africans like gra gra and bravado.

APC capitalized on it 2015 to win election. We are wont to see gentle and reserved people as weaklings and wussies.

A candidate who hopes to make it here has to have what I may call "street credibility". He must have a considerable dose of toughness or strong man make-up.

Why do you think certain elements keep supporting Buhari even when he failed woefully?

Why because it is an African thing. Our different cultural values deferred to the supposed hero who could overwhelm all comers...

Makarfi appears like a good man but whether he has the clout to mount a sustained calvary charge in the combustible environment that is Nigerian politics is entirely a different matter.

Moreover when did post which were created first become the one which gets to front page.

False information is what this is. Dankwambo will continue to be part of the PDP and would never join another political party but if the SDP wants to endorse him come 2019 they are free to go ahead.
