Job Description
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
Write clean code to develop functional web applications
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Perform UI tests to optimize performance
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
Gather and address technical and design requirements
Provide training and support to internal teams
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
Requirements/Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Back-end developer
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP and Python
Working knowledge of CMS framework
Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
B.Sc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

The Role

You should have worked for large organisations on successful Digital Transformation programmes using Web Technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Manage development and implementation workloads relating to delivery of Enterprise Resource Planning solution for a client
Ability to work alongside existing development team to build / configure amazing solutions and software for clients
Keen to gain significant experience in Installation, Configuration, Implementation and development of ERP solution suites to clients requirements
Help create a technical roadmap to guide team decisions
Evaluate and recommend 3rd-party solutions
Produce design documentation to match customer requirements
Other duties include assisting with an ERP migration and general daily and monthly tasks. Ensure upgrades are thoroughly planned, documented and implemented. Run standard routines as per procedures. Maintain correct level of user rights to ensure integrity and security.
Requirements
8+ years of experience designing and building web solutions using Java technologies
IFS ERP and SAS Solutions experience is advantageous
Keen to develop skills in Analytics, Business Intelligence and Big data
Advanced level skill in Java, Web services, Rest API etc
Good knowledge of operating systems and solution architecture
Modern web technologies like: JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5,
Strong presentation, documentation and communication skills
Good knowledge and understanding of web service API's, server-side coding,
Experience with multi-lingual and multi-currency solutions is a big advantage
Experience building, maintaining, and supporting development, testing, and production environments
Experience and desire to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
Track record producing robust, industry-leading solutions. Strong integration experience including third-party .net components

Job Description

Preparation of customers invoices.
Issuance of receipt for payment made by customers
Tracing of direct lodgment into the bank accounts and reconciliation with invoices and receipts raised.
Raising of cheques for payment and daily banking operations.
Preparation of payment vouchers in a manner that ensures that transaction classifications are in appropriate heads
Daily postings of all payment vouchers
Maintain general ledger accounts for all assets, liabilities, income and expenses
Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, amortizations, errors and variances.
Perform accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations and foreign exchange.
Provide appropriate accounting information on any customer accounts/ledger and balances whenever needed.
Preparation of fixed assets schedule.
Assist various departments in detailing or resolving any accounting issues or queries.
Analyze and perform foreign currency transaction reporting, and provide foreign exchange related data.
Assist in preparation of tax schedules and filing activities.
Reconcile general ledger accounts with trial balance and revenue accounts with cash lodgment, receipt raise/issued and credit sales.
Prepare schedule of provision for doubtful debts.
Review financial reports to identify and explain variances.
Follow documentation retention policy to maintain accounting files.
Prepare cash flow statements and resolve outstanding balancing issues.
Ensure that the accounting department adheres to the standard accounting principles and procedures of the company.
Perform the end of the month account closing activities.
Provide details and commentaries for all balances on trial balance with analysis of variances and movement in balances.
Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures.
Prepare a Step-by-Step listing of your work process; Please note that this is a critical function without which you will not qualify for any form of leave;
Any other ad hoc duties as prescribed by the CFO or Head of Finance to assist in achieving Finance & Accounts Department and overall organizational objectives.
Qualifications

At least 3 years as an Account Officer with good knowledge of Account Payable, receivable and Inventory.
Must be ICAN qualified or in the professional stage.
Minimum of B.Sc Accounting or Economics is required.
