We were arguing about the name "Thank God" just yesterday. A guy said his name is thank God and i called him Kelechi. He said Kelechi should be Praise God and Chiemela should be Thank God. That's what started the argument.

Chiamela is God has done well
Kelechi is thank God
Tochukwu is praise God That's what I thought. But on a second thought after the argument, l began to wonder if Kelechi should better mean "Greet God" You know how you can tell a child to greet "Kele" aunty Ngozi. |

Arijude: Arinze is not self explanatory like other igbo names. I'm Arinze by name and i was told the meaning of Arinze by my mom. In full, ARINZECHUKWU meaning, "if not for God" It is only a section of Igbo people that understands and bear the name. 1 Like 1 Share |
