There are those bald nigerian celebrities whose fame has eclipsed 90% of the big names in the Nigerian Entertainment industry despite the ugly fact that their hair is nothing to write home about.

The reason I had to write a post on this issue of being bald is because a lot of people are constrained by their head condition or rather hair deformity.

Being bald is a very serious matter as far as appearance is concern. A lot of people become victims the moment their hair start falling off.

They become victims to sick jokes. People begin to make terrible jokes at their expense until their self esteem also begins to fall off.

10 Nigerian Celebrity News Facts To Have In Mind

They become a shadow of their former self. The erstwhile boldness fades away and in its place creeps in an inferiority complexity worse than the lies of Lai Mohammed.

Some even become so ashamed of themselves that they are sadly forced to abandon certain dreams because of looks.

They say to themselves “I am not appealing”.

The idea therefore is to present before this category of persons the factual success of bald Nigerian celebrities who did not only boldly go out there to make a statement but also became some of the best achievers in the industry today.

And the message is simple. “Live your life”, “the amount of hair on our heads has nothing to do with how much talent you possess”.

What will define you is your value and not just looks, because that will eventually fade away.

There are lots of people out there covering their faces and afraid to look at themselves on the mirror.

That shame will kill your esteem, your career and social status, unless you wake up from that self hate and like the different bald Nigerian celebrities mentioned on this post, go out there and be yourself.

Without much ado let us begin with the listing.

1. Richard More Damijo

He is one of the most uniquely place Nigerian Celebrity that we all all love to see on our TV screens and he is just awesome.

Nigerian celebrities,

Nigerian Celebrity Ireti Doyle, Dark Skin Ladies And The Industry

Richard Mofe-Damijo (popularly known as RMD, born 6 July 1961) is a Nigerian actor and former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State .

After graduating from the university, Mofe-Damijo took part in a television soap opera in the late 80’s called Ripples . Before then, he had a stint with Concord Newspapers and
Metro Magazine as a reporter. Out of Bounds was the first film for which he received a writer/producer credit.

Today he is that bald Nigerian Celebrity making both fame and style look easy.

2. 2face Idibia

At one particular time 2face was not just the king of Nigerian music but also the no.1 Nigerian Celebrity with the largest numbers of baby mamas.

Nigerian celebrities, Gossip Chef,

Today while he is still a force to reckon with in that arena, younger celebs like Davido and Wizkid are now desperately fighting for the first row.

The point is, 2face Idibia is bald but is getting the ladies. And it is not just because of he is rich.

He is handsome and despite the fact that his hairs has eroded, he is still bold enough to do his thing, go out there and participate.

He is the most talented and relevant among the various Nigerian celebrities we have today.

Innocent Idibia was born in Jos ,Nigerian. He is from the Idoma ethnic group in the southern part of Benue State, in central Nigeria. He attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi,Benue State.

He enrolled at Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu (IMT),where he did his preliminary National Diploma course in business administration and management. While attending IMT,he performed at school organised shows and parties, as well as other regional schools such as the University of Nigeria and Enugu State University of Science & Technology .He eventually dropped out to pursue his music career. While attending IMT, 2face Idibia started composing and singing jingles at the GBFan Club at Enugu State Broadcasting Services(ESBS) in 1996.

3. Segun Arinze

There was a time when Nigerian movies were not as meaningless as it currently is.

Nigerian celebrities, Gossip Chef,

A time when our movies made sense for the simple reason that they were expressing our every day stories through motion pictures.

Nigerian celebrities like Segun Arinze during that period were able to set the standard for Nigerian movies and we are happy they did.

Arinze was born in Onitsha, Anambra State to a Yoruba father and an Igbo mother. He is a descent of Badagry, Lagos State. He attended Victory College of Commerce in Ilorin, then proceeded to Taba Commercial College in Kaduna State to completehis secondary education.

He studied Dramatic Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University .He ispopularly known as Black Arrow which he gained from a role he had played in a very popular movie from back in the day.

And guess what?

He has been bald for as long as I can remember.

4. 2shotz

There was a certain time in the history of Nigerian music when the Nigerian celebrities that made us danced were more of rappers than singers.

Nigerian celebrities, Gossip Chef,

And 2shotz was among the few that stayed on top for a very long time.

For those still trying to make the connect. All you have to do is look up the details of the Nigerian music group called Tyrbes Men.

A group that was made up of famous names such as Sasha P, Eldee and 2shotz.

These days 2shotz is more of a photographer based in the United States who is not ashame of photographing his bald head.

So hey! Be bold.

5. Ik Ogbonna

Ik Ogbonna is that fair complexion bald lover boy on our TV screens that the ladies just can’t get enough of.

Nigerian celebrities, Gossip Chef,

It is the norm to often times find him in the circle of Alex Ekubo and Uti. And it is easy to guess right, that the trio are sexual showoffs. All of them models in their own tights.

Are you a natural actor who has refused to look beyond the patch on your head then by all means, learn to be inspired by all these bald Nigerian celebrities.

6. Ikechukwu

Have you seen The Wedding Party? That Nigerian movie that featured many of our favourite Nigerian celebrities.

Nigerian celebrities, gossip chef,

From RMD, Ali Baba, Ireti Doyle, Adesua Etomi, Banky W to Ay the comedian.

If you had, then you would easily remember that very unbalanced best man that so bent on ruining the Wedding.

That bald individual is actually, ikechukwu the rapper.

He is bold, bald and handsome. A clear message to all you out there that look like him but lack confidence. He is saying “Be Bold”.

7. Banky W

Banky W is that unique RnB Nigerian singer that actually does know how to sing sweet songs.

Nigerian celebrities, Gossip Chef,

Let us again go back to the Wedding Party. He played the Igbo Lover boy to Wed Adesua Etomi who in the movie was playing the Yoruba lady with a very difficult mother.

Just like the movie. They eventually got married in real life, months after.

Banky W is also the man that gave us Wizkid. Who today is one of the biggest name in Nigerian Music.

Did you see his beautiful wife? Yea! Even a baldie like you can get that famous and command such ladies.

8. Joel Amadi

Nigerian celebrities, Gossip Chef,

Joel Amadi came to us through the stables of Kennis Music. For some people he was a desperate replacement of 2face Idibia whose exit from the music label had left the music organisation in a very obscure place.

People stopped noticing the music label.

He is no doubt a good singer as he is handsome. He even has a very good joint with 2face. In a way he sounds like 2baba.

But then if you are not 2face, you just can’t be him.

Conclusion

These 8 Nigerian celebrities are rich and famous. And their success stories are out here to inspire you.

I know I might be missing a name or two . And that is where you come in.

Use the comment box to make your suggestions.

I will look into the names and add them on this list.

But make sure the Nigerian celebrities you mention are both famous and still relevant.

Until the next one, please stay blessed.
