The Presidency a Sunday said wife to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan will be the happiest person if the Peoples Democratic Party regains power in 2019.

Spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mallam Shehu Gruba has said this in an article titled ‘The Real Price of Changing the Change (1)’.

According to him, Patience will be the happiest after all her funds were returned to her from the EFCC and would no longer need lawyers

“if the Peoples Democartic Party (PDP) take over power come 2019: ‘The hidden owner of the Lagos cash shop may then step forward to reclaim their N449.6 million; the ex-Naval Chiefs will have returned to them the already forfeited N1.8 billion.

“The Governors Forum paid back their N1.4 billion and the major oil marketers, from whom the EFCC has so far seized N328.9 billion will smile their ways to the bank.

“The banks themselves will equally join the party, happily getting back N27.7 billion they “ate” from taxes they failed to remit.

“The scion of the Akinjides, Jumoke will have N650 million awarded to her while those scammers in INEC who coughed out N1 billion will equally get money back and charges standing against them in court may be dropped.

“But the happiest of them all will be Mrs. Jonathan, who will get the first priority when the refunds start coming for obvious reasons.

“The former First Lady would not anymore need lawyers to keep her mountain of gifts, counted in huge millions of dollars, billions of Naira, hotels and buildings,” he said.

Dude, stealing is actually not corruption, they are different by virtue of our constitution.. Which is greater or higher is subject to the interpretation of the court. But they are not the same.

Grow up, drop sentiments and be realistic.

I'm wondering if Aso rock is usually just occupied by reta.RDS and dotards. All the spokesmen from GEJ to PMB always think in reverse.

God bless Nigeria.

Grown up, can you cite the section of the constitution that states that stealing is not corruption?

I think what GEJ was alluding to was the narrow definition we have of what corruption is in Nigeria. There's more to corruption than just raiding the treasury.

Other forms of corruption would include:

1) falsifying your age to stay longer in the civil service.

2) overlooking a more qualified candidate for a job, so you can employ your kinsman.

3) a randy, pot-bellied old fart taking advantage of a vulnerable young girl looking for a job.

4) greedily cornering all big-ticket projects and investments to ones region, while others are left to settle for leftovers.

GEJ didn't get across what he meant to say quite well. Maybe because it was a live unscripted interview and he was speaking off-the-cuff. However, his enemies saw an opening and pounced....capitalising on this to spread the lie that he supports corruption.

Trying to play on the brains of Nigerians. What does patience Jonathan or banks taken back the money has to do with the common man suffering on the street. But buhari winning the 2019 election has a lot to do with the common man, cause we have seen his first tenure. Most pple sold their vehicles, more pple beg on the streets, fuel is expensive, minimum wage is more like pocket money, everything expensive, high insecurity, SARS on the rampage no one cautions them. Please I want to ask Who is the Presidency?

The thing is that people are tired of this change, but the question is who can beat the ruling party in the forthcoming election. No quality or formidable candidate in the opposition at the moment

Yes oh....

Fuel might actually come down
We would have business growth
The economy would rebound without lies
Cost of living would reduce
Price of food would crash
We may just have our 15m jobs back
Minimum wage would increase without lies..
We would be sure the poor would have oppurtunities
Road would be built without propaganda
Human lives would have a meaning once more
The truth about bokoharam would be out
Rule of law would be respected
The constitution would be paramount
Silencing people for speaking the truth would end
We would have freedom of information once more
Etc...

But most importantly,
Unity would return to Nigeria..
In all the 16 years of pdp has any tribe ever threatened the other with vow of carrying it out?

For someone like you, its a drag, because you expect the exact phrase.

I know you're not ready to unlearn stuffs youve learnt previously that ain't right no more, you're also not ready to relearn and learn, so stick to your beliefs man, its too much effort to correct an hardened person.

Whether you believe it or not, just know for now that corruption and stealing ain't the same thing.

The difference Garba is that there was no blood waste. There is no justification to the 'change' that brings so much sorrow and death in the land.
