The candidate of Accord Party(A) for the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti State, Mrs Margaret Anike Ilesanmi has been replaced by the former deputy governor of Ekiti State, Surveyor Abiodun Aluko. Aluko was defeated by Dr Balogun Sunday in the primary election under the platform of Mega Party of Nigeria, MPN, on Saturday, May 12 where Balogun Sunday polled 191 to defeat Abiodun Aluko who polled 146 and Dr Bode Olowoporuku Scored 71 votes. Both Aluko and Olowoporoku moved to another party to contest the governorship election. Read more story here |
