Please if a seller refuses to provide the VIN, do yourself a huge favour and move on. There have to be hundreds of first generation acura MDX for sale offline and online, with the seller eager to disclose the VIN for the necessary preliminary checks.

Why can't dealers provide Due Diligence and the client do further Enhanced Due Diligence by coming with a technician to double-check.

Would we want Nairaland to go the way of jiji, OLX? (Question to not only Seun but everyone of us).

Auction sites have started treating Nigerian buyer as trash perhaps knowing that we dealers milk buyers; from mileage roll-back, flooded, etc.

Before, one could return a vehicle if it had wrong info (i.e. stated as Run & Drive but driver got to auction and vehicle ain't running not to talk of drive); but not anymore especially when they see you are an int'l buyer from Nigeria.
