A lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and African Languages, University of Calabar (Unical), Dr. Eyo Mensah has been suspended by the management of the Institution. Registrar of the University, Mr Moses Abang disclosed this in a letter titled ‘Indefinite suspension from the services of the University of Calabar’, dated 15th May 2018, signed by him. He said that the Vice Chancellor, Prof Zana Akpagu had ordered the immediate and indefinite suspension of the lecturer.
