Nairalanders, kindly take some time to share how you got your first or current job. This is intended to help individuals who aspire to occupy similar position, Dream to work within same organisation or Have applied to your organisation understand what it takes to get the job in terms of processes, requirements, Test and Interview format etc

In 20XX Segun (Not real name) got a Business Development Job with Japaul Oil and Maritime Services Plc as a Trainee Business Development Executive. The test format at the time was to Answer two Comprehension Passages. He says the comprehension was the toughest he has written so far, more like the typical GRE comprehension test.

The Test was marked immediately and those who passed were interviewed immediately. Within a space of three weeks two other interviews held, one with a Company Director and the other with a group of company Directors, HR rep and the Head of Department.

The Graduate Trainee Engineers test format was different. If you have a question for "Segun" do not hesitate to ask.

Share your own story to help job applicant be well prepared for the next job opportunity
