Fabian explained that JAMB generally examines candidates in 23 subjects which are listed alphabetically in its computer-based module, and that Arabic is one of the four subjects in the alphabetical categorisations.

Dr. Fabian explained: “Alphabetically, Arts comes first, followed by Arabic, then Agric, and then English.

“The software is designed to push four subjects per candidate; so, those three other subjects were dummy subjects that weren’t meant to be answered because there’s practically no mark for them in this particular examination.

“The Police recruitment examination is only in English Language.

“The instructions were clearly written, but we envisaged that some candidates might still not read them, so the examiners read out the instructions.

“The candidates were to answer 60 questions within the 45 minutes they had for the examination. That being the case, how could anyone possibly write four papers in 45 minutes?”

I dont understand.
Why push four subjects to candidates who were expected to take only one subject?
In a society like ours where some people may be using a computer for the first time during the CBT, why create further confusion?
Dummy subjects my ass.

This is not issue of PDP or APC. The question is, what is Arabic doing there?
Stop thinking like a hypocrite!?
Other languages are also there....it's like jamb or waec...Don't they have Arabic among the subjects list??
Candidates are to choose 4 subjects, English as a compulsory subject, then any other three/four...

How can this be in alphabetical order?

What kind of alphabet is this in?

The correct order is:

Agric

Arabic

Art

How can we trust the rest of the statement now when the major plank on which it is rested is faulty?

It does mean that there's more to this.

This explanation is very watery and doesn't make sense at all.
why four subjects when the exam is meant to be only on one paper.
the truth is that this people are up to something.
what I think is going to happen is that some northerners who are very proficient in Arabic are going to answer the Arabic question and they will be assessed and scored on it.

You have spoken well my friend.

Something is really going on.

Then, why putting the irrelevant papers in the first place?

Ability to understand instructions is part of examination.
