That's not Klopp's twitter account. The mods should know better than to bring this irrelavanve to the front page. Truth be told, it was just an accident. A 50-50 challenge that turned out bad for Salah. 1 Like |

EPL people.. They don't face madrid that often so they seems new to their game unlike barcelona that they know very well. Dear klopp and entire EPL supporters, not every defender is as stupid and calm as Pique and Umtiti. Ramos and Casemiro are the remaining beast in the game of football. When you see them, run for your life first. 2 Likes 1 Share |

frankmoney:Liverpool is Salah's team. The same way Barcelona is Messi's team. And don't call Portugal's win here. Ronaldo's injury demoralized them, they had no Plan B. After Ronaldo left, they were clueless. They won by a stroke of luck and Ronaldo's presence on the touchline. So that one was very different, except if you didn't watch that match. 1 Like |

NeeKlaus:they held on for complete 90 mins and u call that luck ? Wow and if they were clueless why didn't France trash them , the truth is Liverpool lost because Madrid was a better team , there is no need for sentiment , Barca without Messi , can even contend well with Madrid and for you to say Liverpool is Salah team , shows they deserve to lose 3 Likes |

lastempero: You still do not understand. Lets take Ramos vs. Salah as an example. People are saying that Ramos deliberately injured Salah. I do not know if this is the case because I have not really watched it closely to make a determination. However, lets assume for the sake of discussion that it is true. That Ramos intentionally injured Salah. The rules of football are clear. Such an act is a straight red card. However, in football you can get away with breaking the rules if you do it in such a way that it is difficult for the referee to make a determination on the spot (hence the call for replay technology). So, if injuring Salah without the referee knowing is what Ramos wanted, then you have to admit he did it the right way and got the result he wanted. This is what I am talking about. This is the nature of life. The law of nature is very simple. If you want a particular result, you have to do what is required. |

Emilokoiyawon: Your analogy is so wrong but I get what you mean. But the right thing to do in this case is not to burn the good man's garden ( that is well watered and taken care of)....that is what Ramos did and that is why he is wicked. Their victory would have been applauded by all if they beat liverpool with Salah on the pitch. They may have won a trophy but no one likes a thief. 1 Like |

otipoju:The analogy is right. The wicked man did what was required to get a fruitful garden and he got a fruitful garden. otipoju:Now, you are changing the analogy to suit your perception. Mind you, I am not even a fan of RM. otipoju:If what you want is applause, then do what is required to get applause. If what you want is victory, then do what is required to get victory. otipoju:The goal is to win the trophy. The goal is not to be liked. If you want to be liked, then do what is required to be liked. Read below what I think is one of the major obstacles to African teams winning the world cup: UPDATE: European and South American teams have learnt this lesson a long time ago. If African teams want to win the world cup they have to learn the same lesson. Every football game is different. Some games you can win by playing beautiful football. But some games you can ONLY win by playing ugly football. Let me repeat this. Some games can ONLY be won by playing DIRTY/UGLY football. This is the nature of professional level football. Some of you don't want to hear this truth because its very bitter to the taste. But if you goal is to become the champion, you have to learn this fact of football life. Let me give you some examples to refresh your memory: USA 94 Nigeria vs Italy. Italians took out Amuneke and Amokachie. And won the game. There goal was to win. There goal was not to play football. So the Italians did WHAT WAS REQUIRED and won the game. 2010 Ghana vs Uruguay. Suarez wanted to win so bad he turned into a second goalkeeper stopping the ball from going into his net with his hands. Suarez goal was to win and he also did what was required. I can give you countless examples, but this two should get you thinking. Nigeria will go to this coming world cup and try to win EVERY game by playing NICE, SWEET/GOOD football. They will come back home without the trophy just like every other team before them. No be curse. Follow the pattern. Think. Reason am. And you will come to the same conclusion. 1 Like |

frankmoney: Your analysis is flawed, have you forgotten that salah is their talisman? All teams have their own talisman, for example in Barca it's Messi. We have all seen how barcelona usually flop each time Messi is not playing despite their array of stars.... (note, when I say "talisman" , it's not just about being a star, it's about how much your teammates love you, how much respect you command from them and how much you can influence and win games, so we can't really say the same for the case of Ronaldo in Portugal. The effect he has in the Portugal team is different from that which he has at Madrid, same with Messi ) It's not that Klopp doesn't have plan B, what affected them mostly was the way and manner they lost their talisman... If he didn't start/doesn't play at all, it would have been a different story entirely and the players would have been mentally prepared for it... If Madrid lost Ronaldo under such controversial condition , it will also have a similar effect on them. Despite the loss of their talisman, Liverpool still did their best but the goal keeper made a mess of all their hard work. In fact i think karius should be blamed more than Ramos for their defeat. |
