There is no elimination throughout the normal league round ( the one you created ) but both competitions will have a world cup mode where there will be elimination that is managed by fifa themselves.

So after round three then the top 16 teams goes into the world cup mode while the others are all eliminated and the normal world cup process takes his course for the head to head league.

As for the classical league ( Fifa world cup mode) the top 16 teams goes knockout and from there the top 8 to the quarters and like that up to the final. Don't worry you will see all the changes later today after this round is over.

I thank God for my cheap opponent this round so i will not be eliminated after this first round  in the world cup mode (head to head)

Hint: Go to the head to head league and click on matches, there you will see all your opponents ( 7 matches in total ) So be checking all your opponents points by clicking on their profile name.

You can make substitution withing your 23 man squad for the remaining 2 matches today in round one.

It will not work because the first round is still on course and those players cannot be subtituted as they have already featured in this round.

You can only bring in players who has not played in that round from your bench.

You can make those substitutions after the last match (spain ).

Okay here is the trick bro, just click on myteam and then round 2 (R.2) then you can make changes or choose your first 11 for round two.

The normal league will run side by side with the world cup mode managed by fifa, so there is no elimination  yet until after round 3.

He cannot make substitution for a player on the bench who has already featured in that round.

Substitution for spain and chile matches closes in 57 minutes.

Click on R.2 and make substitutions for round two, you can also choose your starting 11 for round two today because round begins today by 9:30.

South African vs Uruguay

You also have to make your transfers for round two before that south African match if you want to change your players.

Click on the players jersey and everything will be highlighted before you start dragging after you have clicked on R.2.

You can click either from your bench or starting 11, just click and hold down then you will see some changes before you start dragging.

If you click from the field maybe goal keeper then all the goal keepers on your bench will be highlighted for substitution.

This same rule applies for defenders and the others but if you click the player from the bench then everyone will be highlighted on the field so you can change players and formation.

Click on the jersey and not the name.

Thanks for the info.

Another info guys, before you make changes, click on confirm changes icon first, then point to the player you want to sub and click and drag.

Be aware also that all the points earned by the player will be lost once subbed. You have to wager that the new player can score more than the one you are subbing.

guys,i have 35 mins more to sub van persie and put forlan.
Why are the players in my bench not active when i place my mouse on their jersey?
that is the reason why i canned sub.
i drag vsn persie to the bench but he just returns back as Forlan link is not active.

If you're talking about subb'n players from the first round. . i don't think it'll work cuz i tried too but couldn't sub.

You should see a notice saying 'R1 or R2 Open/Closed',If R1 is 'OPEN' then you can sub, If R1 is 'CLOSED' then you can't.

Just put in Forlan and Suarez, then tossed Pienaar in the MF, hope they earn me some points

when u place your mouse on the jersey, make sure the cursor turns to a handlike image, thats when u can drag

put the cursor on the jersey, let it change, u then drag

u can only get it hyperlinked when the arrow cursor turns to a hand like image

place it on the jersey, click when u see a finger pointing at the jersey

and Mbulela, make sure u have clicked on R2 b4 u can try to sub o
cos Forland and Van Persie don play round 1 already, the next games they'll play is R2
