Davido announced via his instagram updates that he has signed US based Nigerian rapper and convict, Babalola Falemi, aka Sauce Kid or Sinzu, under his DMW label.

The rapper who once collaborated with Davido on a hit song 'Carolina', was released from a US Federal prison in March 2018 after serving a two year jail term for stealing $15,388 using stolen credit card numbers.

Sauce kid real / full name is Babalola Falemiin Lagos State, Nigeria, is a Nigeria recording Artist best in Hip-hop the fast-growing star in Nigerian music Industry Sauce KiD aka Sinzu completed high school education in Nigeria after which he moved to the UK States.

Here he cultivated the custom to rhyme, although he would not appear until February 2005 when he agreed to start an independent record label "Q Beats Entertainment.

In December 2005 Sauce KiD left for Nigeria with a video to play "Omoge wa jo" with the legendary AfroPop singer "Mike Okri".


His debut album African American appeared under the name of understorm records, after which the mixtape daripoff was released online with more than 20,000 downloads in just one week.

1.    Babalola Falemi, popularly known as Sauce Kid, grew up in Nigeria, where he followed his primary and secondary education. He then moved from the country after his high school education to the United States.

2.   Sauce Kid first came under the spotlight in 2005 with his first single 'Omoge' with the veteran music icon, Mike Okri. This was the beginning of stardom for the rapper since the song was generally accepted and loved by everyone.

3.  From the release of the single 'Omoge' Sauce Kid became a household name in the music industry because he was seen as an emerging force to be reckoned with.

He blew the radio waves with his songs. Then came the single 'Yebariba', which until now is seen as one of the most amazing songs made in Nigeria. It was more of an anthem for fans and lovers of the Nigerian style of rap.

4.   In 2016, the essence began to spread that Sinzu had been arrested for wholesale theft and other related violations. The rapper was accused of stealing bank card numbers and identifying information from their owners. He would have stolen $ 15,388 from the unsuspecting victims.

5. Like every fan, the news about the release of Sauce Kid from prison after two years behind the bars was a big relief. A rapper's video surfaced online from the rapper, dressed in a black T-shirt, durag and red pants was seen as welcome at home with the subtitle: "My bro is back !! SINZU."
