Just a day after playing a 1-1 draw against DR Congo, players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria have taken to the ball again - this time around, it is basketball.

Nigeria began their preparation for the 2018 FIFA world cup with a 1-1 draw against Congo in Port-Harcourt as the coach checked out the players who would be on the plane to Russia.

Coach Gernot Rohr had announced that he would be dropping five players after the friendly as the team intensify training ahead of the football mundial.

This did not dampen the spirit of the players in camp as they took time out to engage in a game of basketball. The players struggled to score a point in the game though.
