As Nigeria foremost seccessionist group “Biafra” mark it heroes remembrance day, various photos have emerge online showing the success rate of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) proclaimed sit-at-home protest to mark the event.

As can be seen in the photos, loyal members of the group in some parts of the country duly adhere to the protest by closing up their shops, adhering to the stoppage of vehicular and even human movement and others.

Remember the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police force, IGP Ibrahim Kpotum Idris had earlier vowed to deal with the group if such illegal and unconstitutional protest is observe in any part of the country.

The Biafra heroes day is a day set aside by the seccessionist group in remembrance of their heroes, who fought and lost their lives during the 1967 – 1970 Nigeria-Biafra civil war.
