Even the polytechnic in that town was named after the man father or grand father'adeseun ogundoyin' so his father or grand father's good will won the election for him. You are from which state? You know the meaning of Omo Olore? In the entire Ibarapa, you know how many families benefited directly & indirectly from Chief? The choice of a barber as the opponent is another factor . Even if the minister of communication fields his son, he cannot win. That place is a rural area the people are not interested in intellectualism or education. Most voters there are either artisan or farmers or traders. I am sure that is why the guy used 'Omo Olore' to remind them, Son of your benefactor as his theme

Don't mind them, they are now jumping up and down trying to change the narrative by saying PDP pulled down the federal might as if they contested against the federal government and not other political parties. Instead of acknwoledging that INEC is being freed from government interference.

The election result was as a result of the crisis in OYO state APC.

Most of the leaders of the APC in Ibarapa East belong to the Unity Forum, and felt sidelined by the Governor's decision to singlehandedly pick a candidate without consulting them, coupled with the fact that Eruwa has 6 wards, while Lanlate has 4 of the Constituency's 10. Unfortunately, Eruwa massively supported Debo Ogundoyin, while Lanlate's votes were split between APC's Kunle Adeyemo and Accord's Adelodun Adepoju. The rest they say, is history

Buhari became president cos of crisis in PDP then. So kini big deal APC about to implode as a lying govt!
