Tge case of this 17-year-old boy, Dominic Adiele, who was recently murdered by his uncle Patrick over his inheritance in Anambra on Sunday, May 27.

Yabaleft reports that, Dominic who hails from Uzi-Ezike kindred Umuzu in Eziama-Ubulu area of Anambra, was allegedly beaten by his uncle, wife and six children which led to his untimely death.

It was reported that 17-year-old Dominic died at an undisclosed hospital in Ihiala, Anambra on Monday, May 28. Following the death of the young boy, it was gathered that Patrick, his wife and four of their children were arrested by the police.

Prior to this time, the family have fought over ancestral inheritances and it was revealed that Dominic’s father, Odinma Adiele, was reportedly killed in a similar circumstance about 15 years ago by the same Patrick.

Dominic’s death brought commotion in the community as his maternal relatives arrived Uziezike on Tuesday, May 29, to burn down Patrick’s home and his economic trees. However, the relatives did not do it alone but with the help of angry mobs.
