Captain Manuel Neuer is included in the world champions' squad for the finals in Russia Jogi Low has sprung a major surprise with his Germany World Cup squad, by omitting Leroy Sane. The Manchester City winger has not been included, with Bayer Leverkusen's Julian Brandt preferred. Manuel Neuer is included, and will lead Germany's defence of their World Cup crown. Neuer's participation has been in serious doubt after an injury-hit season for the Bayern Munich goalkeeper. Lol. It's as simple as that for me o. He may be performing well at club level but his national head coach doesn't feel he will be a good team player for Germany. Am sure the head coach was not impressed with his performance |
