Right there is the crux of the anger of this group led by Jibrin.

Educate me please, what's the crux of the anger of the Saraki-led group?

I am 100% in support of buharis impeachment but saraki has been playing d chameleon all along. There were times when it was expedient 2 impeach d president but they didn't bother since they weren't affected. D last time it came up, i said it on this forum that these NA guys don't have d balls cause they don't have conviction. But let them keep fighting themselves based on personal interests. First 2d finish...little by little, its showing that APC can't keep itself together

Saraki and Dogora are not under fire from credible Nigerians. Except, you haven't been following the happenings in the country; particularly the killings across the country by Buhari's fulani kinsmen and the blatant disregard for justice and preservation of the lives of every Nigerian by the same Buhari, then you should know that such dereliction of presidential duties are impeachable. Buhari should have been impeached long ago.

Buhari is incapable of piloting the affairs of the country - due to incompetence, tribalism/discrimination, old age, and terminal disease/health.

Buhari's refusal to discourage and stop his kinsmen fulani herdsmen from killing innocents Nigerians of other ethnic extractions means he's in direct support of the killings.

Buhari's refusal to prosecute his friends and political sponsors and supporters for corruption is not only a threat to our democracy and it is destroying the economic well-being of the country.

Buhari's overbearing influence on the legislature and his direct supervision of the incessant threats, attacks, and humiliation of opposition lawmakers in the legislature is anti-democratic and tyrannical thus, setting a dangerous precedence that is capable of truncating democracy in Nigeria.

It is a combination of these factors that warrants the National Assembly to take steps to rescue the country from Buhari. Nigerians agree that for the country to survive and for the wanton killings by Buhari's ethnic group to stop he, Buhari, must be removed as President.

I urge Saraki and the entire National Assembly to impeach Mr. Buhari!

They did called on president to take action to stop the killing of Nigeria , they also invited IGP but he refused to appear. This Buhari supporter can lie.

We should stop defending what is indefensible. Why did the national assembly not call a joint session and enact anti-open grazing law when Fulani bandits slaughtered innocent Christians and Southerners for the past three years? Saraki is culpable and he should simply clear himself. The institution of the national assembly should never be used to evade the law.

My brother, you are 100% correct. In fact, this write up got me angered at the President. At the unset he didn't take who emerge as Senate President serious, even when Saraki played smart on them, Buhari kept mute, even after much advice and warnings from jagaban himself. All these should have been avoided

Now that their own personal security is affected, both of them quickly called for a joint session.

A lot of nairalanders don't read the original posts; they only read the topics and then drop comments.

Much as I am not a Buharist, I think the Senate President is a selfish, self centered, power drunk individual. He should be made to face the full wrath of the law!

The above is what every right thinking Nigerian should be telling Saraki right now. This is not the time to be using the institution of the national assembly to hide away from criminal investigation. Bukola Saraki is the person under investigation for links to a criminal gang of armed rubbers and not the national assembly. Threatening Buhari with an impeachment we all know you can't pull through won't save you. Stop the blame game and defend yourself.
I agree with you, he should clear his name. But the President should also hold a joint session with the National Assembly concerning security and the service chiefs and police IG should be sacked if they are incompetent, the killing is too much.

Rightful Threats Bogus Arsonists' Fire. Buhari is a Threat to Democracy. He is running Almajiris' economy. He moves Nigeria from High Inflation into Recession and now that many of the middle class is hypertensive, Nigeria is in Depression. Nigerians are dying in large numbers daily.

How are the herdsmen in filthy clothes able to procure AK47?
How come they were able to handle assault rifles with precision?
What will be the gain of the President if he was the one allowing them to kill?

From what i know/read about conflicts, the person(s)/group that stands to gain from conflicts are the arms dealers

But who are the arms dealers?
And who are the people funding the procurement of arms for political reasons?

Those are what you should be concerned with?

Under GEJ it was NigerDelta cos he had an affiliation with that region, after he left so did MEND
Under Buhari its the Herdsmen(but mind you there are so many militias in the North, but any news about killings will be tagged Fulani Herdsmen), when Buhari leaves so will the news of Herdsmen killings

Great comment. If PMB had simply listened to Tinubu who fully understood how dangerous Saraki can be, instead of feeling smart, it wouldn't have backfired this way.

Unfortunately for PMB, Bukola is far more intelligent than Buhari & IGP combined.
I think you r right

Tinubu wanted to bundle Saraki out in 2015 after he emerged as Senate President but Buhari begged that he will work with anyone. He never saw what Jagaban saw

Now Saraki has dragged this administration back on important national issues since 2015

This is sad

The way the NASS Leadership hurriedly organised a joint session because of the invitation by the Police to the senate president to come and answer question on alleged involvement in the offa incidence where 33 Innocent Nigerians loss there lives is baffling...
This is Nigeria where everything is seen as ehno-politics..
This is Nigeria where a president decide to allow all institution of government to perform there constitutional right and people start accusing him of weakness and complexities..
This is Nigeria where political office holders are seen as above the law..no big deal if Saraki go and clear his name from the allegation.
And to think that They organised a joint session just because of the senate president ordeal with the police, when other innocent Nigerians have been killed daily and they have not organised any serious meeting for such..SELFISH POLITICIANS WITH SELFISH AGENDA...

Its boggling actually that there was no joint session concerning the killings until the IG came for Saraki. Saraki should answer his looming charges instead to trying to instigate impeachment and cause chaos in the NASS

Don't be too sentimental, because the still gave room for amendment when the said and I quote;
if nothing was done to end the ongoing killings in the country, kidnappings, humiliation of perceived political opponents of the president.... then they can take action. if Mr president is a wise man, he will restructure his strategies and stop complaining before it get late. this is how he kept blaming past government for almost 4years and end up doing nothing but worst of all
