The demand for counterfeit jerseys is set to soar in Nigeria, following Nike’s announcement of a stock out on Friday.

Nigerians in the United Kingdom (UK) and fans of the Super Eagles across the world were left frustrated when the retro-themed kit, voted the ‘best World Cup jersey in a Sky Sports poll, seemed to have sold out a few hours after its official release.

Nike confirmed the depressing news on Twitter, adding that there were no plans for restocking the much sought after kit.

NFF claimed nike received 3 million pre-ordered super eagles jersey mainly from Nigerians in diaspora especially in UK and white fans worldwide. if true it means Nigeria super eagles is about to break the world record for the most sold soccer jersey for all time.

nike claimed they have run out of stock, which is normal for a high demand goods, but they sold there are no plans to restock. nike has not yet confirmed how many was produced neither tell the public many was sold.

but it was seen from all nike outlet that is not much of the products.
